About Me

Hey.

My name is Caroline O'Brien and I am an international student here at Lock Haven for the one semester taking some education classes at sophomore and junior level . I go to Liverpool Hope University in England and study Early Childhood Education and Inclusive Education, hoping to graduate as a teacher in 2011.

In my learning I have had access to various Numbers of computer equipment, taking senior classes in high school in ICT. Through this I have used Microsoft office tools, including excel, access, word and PowerPoint. I've had a computer for various years ad now have an apple mac, using the Internet alot. I've also been in classes where teachers use electronic white boards to enable them to use the computer at the same time, a great tool in classrooms now. Dvd players and televisions have also been used in my learning.

I've taken this course as I believe technology is a very important part of education now so I hope to further my understanding of how to use it in the classroom and make the most of all facilities available.
